"Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav" is being celebrated across the India to celebrate the 75th year of India's independence. The national flag of India represents the hopes and aspirations of every Indian. Our national flag is a symbol of unity, integrity and national pride. Our national flag is our honor and pride. The three colors of our tricolor saffron, white and green represent peace, harmony and prosperity. The 24 aras of the Ashoka Chakra at its center are indicative of the continuous progress of our nation. With the intention of getting a proper understanding of our national flag among the students, to understand its importance, todayon the day of 4th August,2022 an elocution competition on the importance of the tricolor was organized By Dr. Ashvinkumar D. Parmar Program Officer of National Service Scheme Under the inspiration and guidance of Respected Nilaben S. Thakar Principal of this College. All the teachers of the college, all the administrative staff and all the students participated in the program very enthusiastically. The program was as follows: 1) Sarva-dharma Prayer - in group 2) Lighting of the Lamp by -Students 3) Occasional Addressby - Dr. Ashvinkumar D. Parmar 4) Reading of Pledge by - Dr. Ashvinkumar D. Parmar 5) Pledge taken by - Dr.Ashvinkumar D. Parmar 6) Eloquent Competition - “Importance of Tricolor” 7) Winner Announcement - Devmurari Pragati Harshadbhai B.Com.Sem-3 8) Vote of Thanks by - Dr.Gitaben B. Bhut 9) National Anthem - in ensemble A speech on the importance of the tricolor was delivered in a very effective and impressive style by the following student of the college: 1) Devmurari Pragati Harshadbhai – B.Com., Sem.-3 Dr.Kaushikbhai L. Pandya, Dr. Balwantsinh J. Chauhan and Dr. Purvi H. Parmar served as the judge of the elocution competition. And the judges announced their decision. The program was concluded with the National Anthem. The entire program was managed by Dr. Gitaben B. Bhut. A total of 63 Students of the college and a total of 9 teachers were present in the program. To make the entire program successful, the cooperation and proper guidance of Respected Principal of this college Dr.Nilaben S. Thakar was continuously received.
