India became independent on 15th August 1947. Every year 15th August is celebrated as Independence Day. "Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav" is being celebrated across India to celebrate the 75th year of India's independence. Students should be aware of the history of our independence, know the sacrifices made by our martyrs in the freedom movement, keep the glory of the freedom of the nation, sing the success stories of our heroes who fought for the freedom of the nation and get a proper understanding about our national flag, understand its importance, feel pride for the national flag and the country. Here at the college with the intention of waking up by the Program Officer of National Service Scheme Mr. Dr. Ashvinkumar D. Parmar and N.C.C. Army Program officer Mananbhai M. Kalola, Under the inspiration and guidance of the Principal Respected Dr.Nilaben S. Thakar todayMonday dated15/08/2022“76th Independence Day flag hoisting program” was jointly organized. At the start of the flag hoisting program, patriotic songs were played, which made the entire college atmosphere patriotic. At 8:55 in the morning, by the principal in charge of the college, Dr. Dharmeshbhai R. Parmar the flag was hoisted.After hoisting the flag Dr. Dharmeshbhai R. Parmar gave a topical address and wished everyone on the 76th Independence Day. After that, the all were thanked by the program officer of NCCArmyMr.Mananbhai M. Kalola. The program was declared complete by sweetening the mouths of all those present with chocolates. The entire program was donewith the respected Principal of the collegeDr. Nilaben S. Thacker's cooperation, proper guidance and inspiration.College faculty, administrative staff and NSS participated in the program. A total of 13 Volunteers of NSS, 30 Cadets of NCC Army, 18 cadets of NCC Navy and 30 other students in total - 91 students were present with great enthusiasm. Name of Scheme : N.S.S./N.C.C.
