Farewell and Student honoring Program: 2020-21

On 31/07/2021, at Government Arts and Commerce College, Paddhari, a farewell and honoring program was held for the students. In this program, the students of the last semester of the year 2020-21 were bid farewell, as well as certificates, trophies and prizes were given to the winners of various college level competitions held in that year and to the students who became rankers in the university examinations. The program began at 9 a.m. in the college hall. Mr. Harishbhai Ruparelia, Secretary, Rajkot Municipal Corporation was the Chief Guest at the event. Mrs. Miraben Shukla, Principal of Shishumandir Vidyalaya, Paddhari and a former student of the college, was the guest of honor. Dr. N. S. Thaker - the principal of the college, the entire college faculty, non-academic staff and a large number of students were present at the event. Mr. Harishbhai Ruparelia, Chairman of the program, gave a motivational address to the students. The principal also wished the students all the best for the future and asked them to always cherish good manners. The students were given certificates, trophies and prizes in the form of honors through the guests, the principal of the college and the faculty. The students also gave their feedback at the end of the program. A total of 36 University exam Ranker students were honored in this program. Apart from this, a total of 29 students who won in various competitions of co-curricular activities were also honored. A total of 03 students who became winners in university level sports competitions were also honored. The event was organized by Dr. Geeta B. Bhut, the coordinator of 'Saptadhara'. Anchoring of the event was done by Dr. Kaushikkumar. L. Pandya, assistant professor in Gujarati. The entire program was organized under the guidance of Dr. N. S. Thaker, principal of the college.
